My brother sent me a link to this video. It is inspiring to see how drones are being used to deliver emergency supplies to remote hospitals in Rwanda. Some very good points are also made about not only saving time but energy by avoiding delivering things by driving a vehicle. Two issues that I wondered about, if this is more generally adopted, are the economic impacts if not as many delivery workers are employed (truck driving and deliveries are one of the most common jobs in the US; perhaps this would provide more of a push towards exploring a UBI, universal basic income) and air traffic issues if there are a lot of drones flying over a city (perhaps onboard AI and communication to avoid drone collisions).
